Monte Binga, Mount Gorongosa and Namuli — highland trails with waterfalls and long views.

The highlands along the western border are cool, green and almost empty of visitors. Monte Binga at 2,436 m is Mozambique's highest point, usually climbed over two or three days from Chimanimani. Mount Gorongosa has rainforest and waterfalls, and is walked with community guides. Mount Namuli in Zambézia is the country's most demanding trek. Guides are required or strongly advised on all of these.
