Mozambique stretches roughly 2,700 kilometres from the Rovuma river to Ponta do Ouro. Each province along the way looks and feels different.
South
South — 4 provinces
Easiest to reach, and where most first trips start: the capital, the lagoons of Gaza and the beaches of Inhambane.
Central
Central — 4 provinces
The parks and the mountains — Gorongosa, Chimanimani, the Zambezi corridor and the port city of Beira.
North
North — 3 provinces
Heritage and remoteness: Ilha de Moçambique, the Quirimbas Archipelago and the vast wilderness of Niassa.
