Snorkelling
Shallow reefs you can reach from the beach or a short dhow ride.
You do not need a certification to see the best of Mozambique's marine life. Shallow reefs lie close to shore at Two Mile Reef in Bazaruto, off the Quirimbas islands, and along the coves around Pemba and Nacala. Snorkelling trips are typically run by dhow or small boat and timed around the tide.
